Third Sign Language Interpreter Jobs in Qatar Police
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Third Sign Language Interpreter to join our team for a 1-year contract (August 1, 2023 – August 1, 2024).
What You’ll Do:
- Bridge the communication gap between deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and emergency services.
- Receive emergency calls and reports via video calls, SMS, and email using sign language.
- Record critical details from calls, including caller information, location, and nature of the emergency.
- Convert incoming calls from sign language to spoken language, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Transfer reports and complaints to the Command and Control Department for swift action.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:
- A valid diploma in Sign Language Interpretation (or above)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
